Central Region ‘Guru Purnima’ Celebrations

On Sunday, 17 July 2022, the Central Region Guru Purnima Celebrations were conducted at the Wellington Sai Centre.

Devotees from the Lower Hutt, Palmerston North, and Wellington centres joined the devotional singing event. It was a dynamic and vibrant devotional singing session. Saliya Dissanayake on Tabla, Gajan Srikumaran and Thilini Dissanayake on Guitar, Sai Raj & Chitra Pathmanathan on Harmonium, and Kamala Parbhu on Tambourine provided magic with music.

Palmerston North resident Sai Paavani Barwal read Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Guru Purnima message and Gajan Srikumaran shared a narrative about a sheep and a young lion, its impact on the 9 Points Code of Conduct, and the numerous lessons to be learned.

At the conclusion of the presentation, those who were there were treated to a delicious supper that had been cooked by members of Wellington.
